Narrative-Enabled Healthcare: Auditory cues and Smart Devices for Elderly Exercise Retention
The proposed app integrates with wearable devices (e.g., smartwatch, smartphone sensors) to monitor user activity and vitals while synchronizing the narrative pace and structure to the individual’s movement patterns. Through techniques like cliffhangers, progress-linked unlocking and post-activity recaps, the system aims to sustain motivation and reduce monotony especially for users who are advised repetitive physiotherapy exercises.
